According to Alvaro colmenaro, alex topuria will be making his ufc debut on July 20th. Kinda shocked that’s an apex card, that fight night is starting to get more loaded day by day

I don’t know who they’re fighting yet, but Mauricio Ruffy and Charles jourdain will both be fighting on ufc 303

Ruffy has his opponent already but it’s not confirmed yet so I don’t want to preemptively say it

Torrez finney will be competing on dwcs this season per his ig. He deserved a spot anyways, but he is undeniable after his last fight. The opponent wasn’t good, but he brutally slept the guy. Here’s the ko for those who haven’t seen it

Hopefully we see some UAE warriors prospects getting a shot on DWCS, they have a incredible prospect pool.

@saba2004 said nika kupravishili vs Vladislav Rudnev is a dwcs eliminator. Not sure about the other fights but I imagine Shakhban, Fujita, and nurgozhay will get shots if they win. Shakhban because of the Khabib connection, Fujita because he would establish himself as a top Asian prospect with a win, and Diyar got contacted to take a short notice fight back at ufc 283, so he is on their radar at least

I also noticed Amru magomedov isn’t defending his belt. Maybe he will be on dwcs as well?

Yeah I'm really hoping for Renat Khavalov, Amru Magomedov, Khotam Boynazarov, and Shakhban Alkhasov.
Its too bad Razhabali Shaydullaev is going to Rizin, I thought he was a incredible prospect.

I love dwcs but they have way to many average Americans on there. there is so many great prospects but they seem to always have about 30% of the fighters being mid level Americans who might be on a win streak vs bums on the regional scene

@richmond that’s because the ufc is lazy when it comes to scouting, and tells the managers they like (Jason house) to send them as many mid Americans as possible who are willing to fight for 10/10 because they can’t be bothered to find talent themselves. Most of the time to get signed, it’s not what you’ve accomplished but who you know and who your manager is

Always love when the UFC puts fighters who's best win is against some 3-0 guy ( Billy Brand), and some guy who has only fought Bums and Cans his entire career ( Adam Bramhald ) on DWCS. They can't be bothered to branch out and look at the Russian and Central Asian prospects. Its not even a contract issue, most of the guys live in 2nd world countries and would accept a crap 12k/12k dwcs contract.

Billy brand is actually really fun ngl, I don’t mind ufc giving him a shot. His only loss is to Payton Talbott, and brand brings it every fight. He comes from a Muay Thai background and holds nothing back on the feet. I forget which fight of his it was, but i remember he beat this one guy so badly, it looked like he didn’t belong in the cage with billy

Yeah I agree Billy has some really fun fights, I think the fight your talking about is him vs Bernal. He brutalized him, but I wish that these guys who have these unimpressive records would get more experience before going to the UFC, I hate how you have some young unexperienced fighters that get signed and then and then go 0-3, or 1-2 and then be cut and then have there careers be completely derailed.

Yeah I agree not a fan of that in general, I am always in favor of guys getting more experience before signing. However, I think brand totally deserves a shot, even if he is a little green. Hes the type of guy they want for dwcs 


Also, I think you’re right. That’s the fight I was thinking of
