Oliveira vs. Lentz II
Charles Oliveira, SUB, R3
Every time these two fight it is an entertaining back and forth affair. The styles these two have lends itself to action. After the previous 2 matchups it seems clear to me not much has changed and that Oliveira will get the win. Eventually he will get a hold of Lentz's neck and finish the fight. But up until then it will be fun to watch. The line is high but this card is loaded with huge favorites. So this may be one of the better values from a betting perspective.

Luque vs. Krantz
Vicente Luque, TKO, R1
Luque is the better fighter. He gets to get a paycheck and stay on the card but as long as he stays focused he keeps his momentum. Krantz gets his UFC debut and maybe one more fight then it will be back to the regional scene . Luque by KO I will say the first.

Periera vs Roberts

Roberts, KO/TKO R2.

Periera is, amazingly, an even ****tier version of hairy fairy Theodoru. He lumbers around the cage winging ridiculous capoiera **** that doesn't land 85% of the time with the senseless, spastic, indiscriminate, simian idiocy of an aged half-blind lemur that is inebriated on fermented coconut milk  as it performs a pre-mating ritual on a moonless midnight for a bush it has mistaken for a female of its kind. I don't even know if that happens. I hope it does, or at least has once. If it does, no need to tune-in to national geographic. Just watch a periera fight--you'll have literally have seen ******* everything!

Erosa vs Arce

Arce, TKO R1.

Boy oh boy, does Erosa ever suck balls. I actually have no idea what he's doing in the UFC, but I doubt his tenure in the promotion will be long lived. Arce will effortlessly beat the breaks off him in a completely one-sided shellacking that nobody will ever want to see ever again--and I see that because I don't believe he's interesting enough for anyone to even waste the energy on hating. The fact that he gave Dawson a semi-competitive fight means that I can never feasibly pick Dawson in anything ever again.

Oliviera vs Lentz

Oliviera, sub r2.

Pretty easy night for Charles, really. He's basically better than Lentz in every facet of fighting. I don't mind Lentz in the same way I don't mind rice cakes. He's a fighter in the way that rice cakes are food.

Luque vs Krantz

Luque, KO/TKO R2.

This should be violent and will quite possibly be FOTN. Magny getting popped for whatever it was he was taking that wasn't helping him anyway is probably the best thing to happen to this card so far. Krantz isn't a bum for the uninitiated, he's a good striker that only knows how to come forward. Luque has the better short-distance hands, conditioning and power though. I think he gets  it done here, especially with Krantz coming in on short notice.

Anderson vs Spencer

Anderson, KO/TKO R2.

I'm surprised Anderson isn't a bigger favorite against spencer who blows chunks, really. I understand that Megan doesn't have great TDD (it's largely terrible) but what she does have is 9 foot tall legs, a massive size advantage, power advantage, conditioning advantage, and technical striking advantage. Spencer's TD rate isn't anywhere near enough to overcome all that. She hits her TD's off the fence against part-time waitresses who train by  marathon watching reruns of sex and the city and glutting various varieties of instant and/or dairy based puddings. She'll try to get Megan down, will fail, gas like an obesity case chasing a mcdonalds voucher blowing in the wind, and then subsequently get her face either punched or kicked from its shoulders within two.

Giles vs Cummings

Giles, Dec.

Giles would have had to have really deteriorated during his time training with the popo to drop this fight really. He's younger, and better. That said, if the Fallout expansions have taught me anything at all, it's that inbreds are really tough to finish. I don't see Giles getting a finish her for this reason, and to a lesser extent that I don't think Giles will take many risks having been out for so long.

Confident about:

Roberts
Anderson
Oliviera
Arce
heinisch
RDA
Trizano
Ramos
luque

Not confident about but picking:

Giles
Ladd
Green
cummins

Predictions: 7 of 13 Winners, 4 Perfect, 540 Points   |   Tied for 201st

dos Anjos vs. Lee
Kevin Lee, DEC
I think Lee will win because he is the younger and faster fighter. Dos Anjos is getting older, and Lee will get a very boring decision out of RDA. It’ll start by a boxing exchange, then Kevin will clinch RDA, then take him down. It will probably put us to sleep, but that’s okay. Five rounds, 49-46.

Anderson vs. Spencer
Megan Anderson, TKO, R1
Anderson will knock out Spencer with punches and work her way to a title shot, Spencer is a newcomer and I think she will get out classed.

Luque vs. Krantz
Vicente Luque, TKO, R1
I think Krantz will get handed on the feet by Luque and get knocked out badly on the feet. It’s a very one sided fight.

Oliveira vs. Lentz II
Charles Oliveira, SUB, R2
I think Lentz will hang with Charles on the ground in round one, then he will get submitted by RNC.

Green vs. Jourdain
Des Green, TKO, R1
I think Green will destroy Jourdain just like he did with Pearson. It will be a vicious KO.

Trizano vs. Dawson
Grant Dawson, SUB, R2
I think Dawson is an animal in the UFC. A true prospect. I think he will DESTROY Mike. I think an armbar.

Dos Anjos Vs Lee

I've really been going back and fourth here, however as the week goes by I'm leaning towards Lee. Striking no doubt RDA holds the advantage, he usually does though. Lee will be fresher and more energetic without the intense weight cut, he physically appears to be bigger which is crucial as he will look to wrestle or keep him in the clinch.

Lee will need to negate RDA early, I think RDA will be wary of throwing kick as Lee has excellent entries when he shoots doubles. I think Lee will secure enough TDs and get enough control time to grind out a split or close 48-47 unanimous decision. This is evidently isn't a confident pick.

Anderson vs. Spencer
Felicia Spencer
I have watched Feliica spencers career unfold as a professional and she has greatest well rounded abilities ive seen in a woman fighter for some time. The dedication and values of a martial artist we have missed ofr some time. Cant wait for this fight and watching her train in the Jungle under Mike Lee. i called this a while ago she is the sports next Rousey with out the attitude!

Luque vs. Krantz
Vicente Luque
D rock please prove me wrong

Green vs. Jourdain
Des Green
Normally I would vote the under dog but this would be such an upset and I cant imagine that the hometown favorite would not pull off a win in his town.

Cummins vs. Herman
Patrick Cummins
Herman please make this a good one not a retirement match! I would love Herman to win but frankly his last ouple fights were lack luster and surprised Dana gave him another

I would reconsider going with Spencer personally. I did consider going with her myself. However her striking isn't there despite her being a black belt in Taekwondo. She relies on bum rushing opponents into the cage and then grinding for TDs. Megan's striking is lethal, she had Holly Holm wobbling, and forced her to grapple. The size difference is astronomical, Felecia should probably be fighting at 135 or maybe even 145. Megan on the other hand has to cut weight to make 145, is 6ft tall and is physically big as well. I think since the Holm fight she would have made the necessary adjustments to keep it standing.

Predictions: 9 of 13 Winners, 3 Perfect, 555 Points   |   Tied for 136th

dos Anjos vs. Lee
Rafael dos Anjos, DEC
there's a real point to be made that dos anjos' last 2 losses are to power wrestlers and that's lee's strength, but the size disparity isn't gonna be the same issue as before so i think rafael can sprawl and brawl.

Júnior vs. Heinisch
Ian Heinisch, DEC
carl's jr is on a pretty wild streak, 4 rnc's in 5 wins, but i have to take an underdog or i'll feel like a loser and i feel like heinisch can use his power to dictate the range.

Anderson vs. Spencer
Megan Anderson, DEC
spencer is legitimate, just not sure she's ready to fight a tornado like megan. the range might just be too much to overcome in 3 rounds.

Luque vs. Krantz
Vicente Luque, TKO, R2
krantz has some big balls, that's for sure. i expect luque to stay patient and maybe even cautious, but to still take the win when his opportunity opens.

Oliveira vs. Lentz III
Charles Oliveira, SUB, R1
lentz needs to fight smart to win here and that's not really his style, he'll be more than happy to exchange in the brawl and make attempts in the scrambles, both places where charles thrives.

Hubbard vs. Ramos
Davi Ramos, SUB, R1
hubbard has had a significant rise in competition past few fights, but ramos is one of these mat savages where he wants to rip something off.

Ladd vs. Eubanks
Aspen Ladd, DEC
it's hard to feel confident in sarj after so much derailed hype concerning the weight misses. as long as aspen stays off her back and keeps her hands up, she should take control.

Green vs. Jourdain
Des Green, DEC
jourdain relies on finding a finish and the thing des does best is grind so i think it's his fight to lose.

Pereira vs. Roberts
Danny Roberts, TKO, R3
pereira is about flash, and it might work, but if it doesn't then he's gonna get tired and sloppy.

Trizano vs. Dawson
Grant Dawson, DEC
i keep underrating trizano, but he might have a future. dawson, however, already looks like he's the present.

Cummins vs. Herman
Patrick Cummins, DEC
years ago this was probably a good matchup for ed, and he's still capable of landing whatever big shots he throws, but i feel like the pressure is gonna be too much.

Giles vs. Cummings
Trevin Giles, DEC
a changing of the guards perhaps. cummings just doesn't do enough against pressure fighters to get rounds.

Arce vs. Erosa
Julio Arce, TKO, R2
arce has more potential, having a hard time seeing erosa stick around.

ladd by decision or late stoppage.

not impressed with eubanks, she has 4 wins and 2 of them are decisions over roxanne modiferri. i picked roxy to beat antonia shevchenko and she did but shevchenko is garbage. eubanks is an undisciplined fighter who doesnt like to cut weight. ladd will be too strong for her.

lee by decision

this fight is a tough call and a coin toss for a reason. lees first fight at 170, so it depends on his cardio, which i think will be better for not cutting the extra weight. i wouldnt bet this fight with someone elses money. no confidence on the outcome.

anderson ko/tko round 2 or 3

megan is huge and has decent striking and surely shes been working on her tdd. plus a higher level of competition. she should have learned a ton in the holm fight. holly didnt want to strike with her, that should say something.

Trizano is getting hype because he beat that overhyped Pena.. gimme the wrestler all day, Dawson will kill the rounds off and win a decision

Predictions: 4 of 9 Winners, 2 Perfect, 265 Points   |   Tied for 1905th

Luque vs. Krantz
Derrick Krantz, DEC
I smell a huge upset here... Krantz has 10 losses, but only one by KO... He seems pretty tough, so I don't think Luque will be able to knock him out. Luque likes to brawl against less technical fighters, and if I remember correctly the Barbarena fight wasn't going his way until the finish. Call me crazy but Krantz by close decision in a FOTN bloody brawl !

Pereira vs. Roberts
Danny Roberts, TKO, R3
Roberts needs to protect his chin, but I don't think Pereira hits harder than the technical Nordine Taleb or violent Platinum Perry...

Cummins vs. Herman
Patrick Cummins, DEC
Both will be tired and wobbly, in a sloppy violent fight. Cummins takedowns will probably make the difference.

Green vs. Jourdain
Charles Jourdain, TKO, R1
Charles Jourdain, TKO double champion is in the UFC. After watching this exciting fighter for the past few years, it'll be great to see him in the UFC.
